The Sniper is a weapon in Shootup.io. The Sniper can be equipped by picking it up from the ground. The Sniper uses Bullets as ammo.The Sniper comes in 5 rarities, common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. The Sniper has very high damage and penetration, and is great for early and late game.

The Sniper has very high damage per shot, great penetration and gives player a larger FoV than other weapons. However its fire rate is very slow, making its damage per second actually not particularly high. Also making it requires more aiming skills than other weapons to be used efficiently, as other weapons like machine gun which reloads fast can hit enemies easily and do damages even with a low aiming skill.
Advantage[]
Sniper deals high damage, and also gives a larger FoV than all other guns, which make it very useful in PvP to kill enemies. The Sniper also penetrates through enemies well, making it quite good to tackle zombies when they line up.
Disadvantage[]
Snipers also have the slowest firing rate of any gun, which balance it's high penetration and damage and makes the gun requires much more skill to use. Its penalty will be particularly high if you misses any shot because the damage of Sniper is highly concentrated in single bullets. Moreover due to the fact that sniper cannot do area damage (tho it can do penetration damage) and it has a low fire rate, it will not be effective when tackling a large amount of zombies widely spreaded or surrounding you in a circle.
